My Managerial style
Creating a successful show involves many moving parts, and having the right people with the right skill sets is crucial for streamlining and optimizing the process. With an intimate understanding of production from initial concept to opening night, I have participated in every aspect of creation.
My distinct blend of academic and performance experience sets me apart in the circus world. Years of performing on stage have honed my quick problem-solving skills, while my education at Colgate University has equipped me to organize and present complex material effectively. I have an overarching vision of each project, enabling me to pinpoint trouble spots and understand their impact on the overall process. As an analyst, I can generate viable options quickly to help the production move forward.
My practical skills include being an experienced stage hand and stage manager, adept at pulling lines for aerial acts and managing quick costume changes. As a coach, I have an intrinsic understanding of how bodies move in the air and what is necessary to enhance acrobatic movements while also avoiding injuries. I plan to complete courses to become a certified personal trainer and circus coach to better suit all artists and bodies.
This unique combination of organizational, analytical, and practical skills makes me a versatile "jack-of-all-trades," capable of fitting into any role for any production.
